It has been a while since I’ve revisited this blog. I spent some time in the past year considering ending it and starting a different sort of outlet for my photographs, since they have shifted somewhat in style with the move to an urban location, and the older examples seem a bit less relevant to what I would post going forward. But, after a while spent poking around other platforms, I decided to keep things the way they are for the present.
While I’ve mainly been shooting in the Pacific Northwest for most of my photographic life (plus a bit of infrequent travel outside of the region), it’s more focused now on the Puget Sound area, and specifically a lot of street photography in downtown Seattle. This has been invigorating, since I have always loved to shoot on the streets of this town. I thought of having a blog, or another type of social media profile, specifically concentrated on Seattle street photography, and I may still do that eventually. But this blog has always served to depict a variety of my photographs along with some gear-focused topics, and I’ve enough newer work that lies outside of the street genre to keep the posts interesting (including a very refreshing trip to Athens, Greece mainly shot with Micro Four Thirds).
I will focus on follow-up posts detailing some of the gear I have been using for the past year and more, and some thoughts around film photography. Stay tuned!
